Augusta County Comprehensive Plan Update

The County has updated the draft plan without including many of the suggestions from the public input sessions especially concerning the size of Urband Development Areas and language regarding the scale of desired industrial development. New maps and text of the changes are available at www.co.augusta.va.us

VCC participates in the Augusta Community Partnership, a group of local citizens and organizational representatives concerned about farmland, growth and development issues. ACP meets every first Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the Augusta Government Center in Verona. All are welcomed to join in the discussions and programs.
